The Montana Tech women's basketball team lost a thrilling season-opening contest to University of Calgary on Saturday night at Kelvin Sampson Court.

Montana Tech finished the contest shooting just 30.1 percent from the floor while the Dinos didn't fair much better shooting at a 33.9 percent clip. The Orediggers outrebounded the Dinos 44-32 and collected 16 offensive rebounds.
