BILLINGS - Rocky Mountain College head women's basketball coach Wes Keller announced Monday that Abby Kokot has signed a Letter of Intent to join the Battlin' Bears for the 2020-21 season.

From Livingston, Mont., the 5-foot-10-inch forward will join the Battlin' Bears after her senior year at Park High School. Averaging 10 points and six rebounds per game, Kokot led the Rangers in scoring during her junior year. She received an honorable mention all-conference selection.

A multi-sport athlete, Kokot played basketball, volleyball, and track & field in high school. Earning academic all-state honors in all three sports, Kokot also earned a first team all-state selection in volleyball during the 2019 season.

“We are excited to have Abby join the Battlin’ Bears program," said Keller. "Abby has been a successful multi-sport athlete in high school and we look forward to watching her develop at the next level where she can put all of her focus on basketball.”

Earning a 4.0 GPA, Kokot is a four year honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. She will pursue a degree in education while at Rocky Mountain College.

"I am excited to be a part of a team with such a great work ethic and family bond," said Kokot. "I look forward to the small campus size and staying close to my family."
