HELENA -- More than 100 former Carroll College players gathered in Helena over the weekend for Carroll's Homecoming and Hall of Fame festivities, where six-time national champion coach Mike Van Diest was one of the inductees to the Carroll College athletics Hall of Fame.
Following Carroll's 54-26 win over MSU-Northern, the P.E. Center hosted an invite-only ceremony to honor Van Diest, fellow former Carroll coaches Jim Hogan, Nick Howlett and Jarrod Wirt, and all of the players and families that turned the Fighting Saints into an NAIA powerhouse.
