WHITEFISH -- Former Columbia Falls and current Lewis-Clark State College basketball standout Kiara Burlage was named the Frontier Conference women's basketball player of the week for the second time in as many weeks, the league announced on Monday.

The 6-foot junior again led the Warriors to a 2-0 week, this time against a pair of top-25 opponents. L-C State, which is ranked No. 25 in the latest poll, defeated No. 22 Montana Western 61-40 and No. 20 Rocky Mountain College 82-54.

Burlage scored 20 points, gathered 11 rebounds and added one block, steal and assist in the victory over the Bulldogs. She played 33 minutes and hit all seven of her free throws. Against Rocky she had 19 points and 14 rebounds in 34 minutes of action, sinking both free throws. She added four assists against the Battlin' Bears.

Burlage averaged another double-double in the wins -- 19.5 points and 12.5 rebounds -- while connecting on 14 of her 20 field goals. She also cashed in with a perfect 9-for-9 performance at the free throw line.

Burlage and the Warriors hit the road to continue Frontier Conference play this weekend, meeting MSU-Northern in Havre on Friday, before heading to Great Falls to square off with the University of Providence on Saturday.

Montana Tech's Taylor England was named the Frontier Conference men's player of the week.
