WHITEFISH -- Spencer Swaim of Carroll College and Becca Richtman of Montana Tech were selected the Frontier Conference cross country runners of the week, the league announced Monday.
Swaim, a junior from Spokane, Wash., finished second overall and was first among Frontier Conference runners at the Frontier Conference Preview hosted by MSU-Northern in Havre. His time was 26:53 in the 8,000-meter run.
Richtman, a senior from Elburn, Ill., finished first with a time of 18:57 in the 5,000 meter at the Frontier Conference Preview. It was a historic finish for the debut of the Montana Tech cross country team. The Tech women finished third overall.
