HELENA — The Carroll College basketball teams held a watch party on Thursday to see who they will be facing and where they will be heading for the opening round of the NAIA national tournaments.

The Carroll College women will be heading to Lewiston, Idaho as No. 1 seed after earning an automatic bid thanks to their Frontier Conference tournament title.

The Fighting Saints will face the winner between Lewis-Clark State and William Jessup University.

For the men's side, the Fighting Saints will move into the tournament as a No. 2 seed after earning an at-large bid on Thursday. The Fighting Saints men will also make the trip to Lewiston to face the College of the Ozarks.

“I think for us as players we are really just coming together this next week, focusing on ourselves and being prepared just for the moment because we don't know what the other team looks like,” said Jonny Hillman. “What we can do is just be ready for ourselves as a team and be the best team that we can be. So, I think that's what we are going to be focused on."

The opening round for the Fighting Saints begins on March 12.
