HELENA -- The Carroll College men's and women's basketball teams completed a weekend sweep of Montana Tech on Sunday. The Carroll women used a strong second half en route to a 71-56 win, while the Carroll men dominated Tech for a 74-48 win.

The Carroll College women's basketball team defeated Montana Tech 71-56 on Sunday afternoon.
A game that was tied at halftime at 31 was opened up when the Saints took advantage of transition opportunities in the second half while also making seven 3-point field goals. Leading the way for Carroll were Dani Wagner with 25 points and Jamie Pickens with 15 points. Sienna Swannack had 10 assists.
The Fighting Saints, ranked seventh in the last NAIA poll, lead the Frontier Conference with a 9-1 record and are 15-2 overall. The Saints' next action will be at Rocky Mountain College for two games Jan. 30 and 31.

Six players score in double figures as the Carroll College men's basketball team earned a 74-48 win over Montana Tech on Sunday.
Shamrock Campbell had 13 points, and Gui Pedra, Dennis Flowers III, Brendan Temple, Ifeanyi Okeke and Jovan Sljivancanin each had 11 points.
The Sunday afternoon win puts Carroll at 6-4 in Frontier Conference play and 9-5 overall. The Saints' next action will be at Rocky Mountain College for two games Jan. 30 and 31.
