HAVRE -- Andrew Rolin and the Montana State-Northern football program are locked in to the 2020 fall football schedule.
Following virtual meetings between Frontier Conference coaches and administrators, the Lights unveiled their eight-game conference slate, which begins on Sept. 12.
Each Frontier Conference football program will play an eight-game league schedule, beginning and ending the season against a common opponent.
Northern travels to Montana Tech to debut Andrew Rolin's third season as the Lights' head coach. MSUN remains on the road the following weekend at 2019 Frontier Conference champion College of Idaho, before finishing the first half at home against Southern Oregon and Carroll College.
Every team receives a bye on Oct. 10.
Following the off week, Northern returns to the road, first at Eastern Oregon on Oct. 17, then in Dillon to meet Montana Western on Oct. 24. The Lights host a Halloween contest against Rocky Mountain College before finishing the regular season in Havre against Montana Tech.
The NAIA postseason begins on Nov. 21, with the 65th annual NAIA national championship game slated for Dec. 19 at Eddie G. Robinson Stadium in Grambling, La.
