BILLINGS - Registration is now open for the Montana State University Billings cross country/track and field 2021 winter camps, announced head coach Jonathan Woehl on Wednesday.
Sessions for throwers and distance runners are scheduled for Feb. 27 and sessions for sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers are set for Feb. 28. All sessions will take place in the lower gymnasium on the MSUB campus, and will run from 8 a.m.-noon each day. Registration is available online here.
The camp sessions are open to all high-school aged students (grades 9-12) and the registration fee is $30 if paid before Feb. 20. The registration fee increases to $40 if purchased on Feb. 20 or later. Registration includes expert coaching with NCAA Division II coaches and athletes, as well as a camp t-shirt.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the track & field camps are limited to 25 participants per event group. Attendees should dress appropriately and wear running shoes, and no spikes are allowed in the lower gym. Distance runners should bring clothing for training both indoors and outdoors.
