BILLINGS -- Montana State University Billings athletics is now accepting registrations for four girls basketball camps scheduled for the fourth week of July. Age groups include girls entering kindergarten up to high school seniors and camps range from beginner instruction to elite overnight camp and tournament play.
Interested participants are encouraged to visit msubcamps.com to register. Spots are still available for all four offerings but will be filled on a first come first serve basis and capped. For additional questions, contact the Athletics office at 406-657-2369.
Woodin and MSUB assistant coach Alisha Breen serve as co-camp directors and both bring a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience to their resumes. Woodin has been the women’s basketball head coach at MSUB for 16 seasons. His teams have compiled 269 wins, ranking him first all-time in program history. He has coached five all-Americans and over 40 all-conference players. He is also four-time NCAA College Coach of the Year award winner.
Breen completed her second year as assistant women’s basketball coach in 2019-20, where she was involved in daily practice/game preparation, scouting, player skill development, team strength/conditioning, recruiting, and more. During her playing days, Breen led the Yellowjackets to the NCAA Elite Eight and was a first-team all-American. She has been assisting with MSUB basketball camps for more than six years and holds more than 20 MSUB and conference records.
All MSUB girls basketball camps stress key fundamentals and provide campers with proper instruction in order to improve. An organized, fun, and competitive atmosphere will be present at all camps. Many former and current Yellowjacket players along with other local quality coaches will be assisting with the camps. All individual campers will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball. On campus room/board is available to individuals or teams from July 20-26.
