BILLINGS – Former Billings Senior softball player Brittanee Fisher, now a steady hitter for MSU Billings, has been named to the NCAA DII Academic All-District team for the 2019-20 season. Fisher is one of two athletes from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference to earn this prestigious recognition joined by Allyson Drury from Western Oregon University.

The Billings native held a 3.86 in Health and Human Performance.

“This is a great honor for Brittanee to be recognized for her dedication in the classroom and on the field,” said head coach Lisa McKinney. “She takes pride in both. We are proud of her for earning this honor.”

On the diamond, Fisher finished with a batting average of .317 with 19 hits, three home runs, nine RBIs and a .500 slugging percentage. A mainstay in the heart of the lineup for the ‘Jackets, Fisher will return next year for her senior season.
