MILES CITY -- The Miles Community College women's basketball team didn't waste any time Thursday night getting started as it jumped out to a 22-2 first-quarter lead and cruised to a 75-57 win over United Tribes in Miles City.
The win clinched the regular-season MonDak Conference championship for the second time in three years.
Rebekah Dallinger scored 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting, including a 3-for-4 mark from 3-point range, and Lili Long added 24 points and six rebounds as the Pioneers ran their record to 18-0 on the season. Kate Tanner led the Pioneers with 13 rebounds.
The two teams will play again Friday night at 5:30 p.m.
