BISMARCK, N.D. -- Monday was a night to forget for the Miles Community College volleyball team as Bismarck State made quick work of things at the Armory on campus of Bismarck State.
Miles CC couldn't put anything together and BSC dominated from the start, defeating the Pioneers 25-15, 25-5, 25-16. The win vaulted BSC into a half-game lead in the MonDak Conference with a 8-1 record while MCC fell to 4-5 in MonDak play and 10-13 overall. The Pioneers sit in fourth place in the conference standings.
Olivia Easton had seven kills on the night. Samantha Bonenberger had 11 assists and Matilda Dietz had 15 digs.
MCC will travel to Devil's Lake, N.D. this weekend for matches with Assiniboine, Northland College, Providence, and Dakota College-Bottineau.
The next home match is Tuesday, Oct. 22 vs. Dakota College-Bottineau and then Sophomore Night on Wednesday, Oct. 23 vs. Williston State.
