MILES CITY -- Miles Community College Volleyball fed off of Tuesday night's upset win over North Dakota State College of Science with a 3-0 victory over Lake Region State on Wednesday to improve to 2-0 in MonDak play.
MCC got off to a great start and never looked back, controlling all three games of the match. MCC was led on the night by a trio of freshmen and sophomore setter Samantha Bonenberger, a Billings Senior High product.
Bonenberger had 31 assists on the evening with 15 of those going to Olivia Easton, also from Billings Senior. Saige Diegel had two blocks and Matilda Dietz contributed 14 digs and four aces.
MCC will continue conference play next Tuesday with another home match versus Bismarck State.
