Miles Community College volleyball rallies past Dawson CC

MILES CITY -- The Miles Community College Pioneer volleyball team got off to a slow start Wednesday night at home, losing the first game 25-18, but rallied in a big way by dominating the next three games to send Dawson CC back to Glendive with a MonDak Conference loss.

MCC took the last three games 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 and were led by play of sophomore Hailee Kuske. Kuske accounted for 11 kills and 4.5 blocks on the evening.

Samantha Bonenberger continued her strong play with 32 assists, Matilda Dietz had 14 digs, and Mariah Simmons served up three aces. The Pioneers moved to 3-3 in MonDak play and 9-11 on the season.

Next up is a trip to North Dakota to play NDSCS on Tuesday (Oct. 8) and Lake Region State on Wednesday (Oct. 9).
