GLENDIVE - The Dawson Community College basketball men started slowly for about the first 25 minutes but pulled away once they picked up the tempo against Rocky Mountain College's JV, speeding up the Battlin' Bears and forcing 22 turnovers.
Dawson was led by Kennedy Brown's (6'8 FR Center) 14 points (7/12 FG) and 9 rebounds (7 offensive), and Isaiah Bouchard's (6'5 FR Center) 9 points and 8 rebounds. Michael Jok added 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Rocky Mountain College was led by Mick O'Conner's 16 points and 11 rebounds (5 offensive). Michael Cover and Kaden Perron both added 11 points for the Battlin' Bears.
Dawson Community College returns to conference play next week. Monday's game will be at home against Williston State and Thursday's game will be a home contest vs. Miles CC.
