HELENA — The Carroll College softball team clinched the Cascade Conference tournament's final spot Thursday afternoon, sweeping Providence in a two-game series at Nelson Stadium.
Carroll won the opener 2-1 to clinch its postseason berth. Carroll won Game 2 9-1.
