GREAT FALLS — Twin Bridges scored 40 first-half points and rode a strong defensive effort to beat Great Falls Central 58-6 in 8-Man football action on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. It was the first regular-season game for Central at Memorial Stadium since the 1970s.
Connor Nye rushed for four touchdowns in the first half for the Falcons, while Riky Puckett and Sam Konen each added scores of their own. Twin Bridges continued the dominance in the second half, putting up 18 more points while pitching a shutout on defense.
Central started strong after a Jordan Schultz interception early in the first quarter. The Mustangs immediately scored on the ensuing possession when quarterback Dillon Warren found Tucker Atkinson through the air for a 55-yard touchdown, but that would prove to be Central's only score.
Twin Bridges moves to 1-0 on the season, while Central falls to 0-1.
