GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Central football team will reschedule its next two games after the school announced that it had a confirmed positive COVID-19 case, according to a Facebook post.

The post said contact tracing by the Cascade City-County Health Department affected eight total students, but "because we have a small football team and it affected them predominantly, we have rescheduled our next two games."

GFCC was scheduled to play road games at Choteau (Sept. 18) and Fort Benton (Sept. 25). At the time of the announcement, no new dates have been confirmed to play the games. Central's next game will be its Homecoming game against Cascade on Oct. 3 at Memorial Stadium.

When asked for comment, GFCC directed MTN Sports to its original statement, which can be found below.
