PARK CITY — Park City scored 18 unanswered fourth-quarter points to seal a 38-12 win over Ennis in 8-Man South football action Friday night.
Leading just 20-12 after three quarters, Carson Baker threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Garrett McMillen to grow the lead to 28-12. The Panthers’ defense, which was stout all night, recorded a safety, and Baker followed with an 8-yard scoring run to provide the final margin.
Baker also had a 52-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and threw a 27-yard scoring strike to Tucker Johnstone in the third. Garrett Zimdars also had a 61-yard TD on the ground for the Panthers.
Park City finished with 371 total yards of offense with 294 of those coming on the ground. Ennis finished the game with 216 total yards of offense with 136 coming in the run game.
Park City (2-0) travels to West Yellowstone on Sept. 13, while Ennis (0-2) hosts Joliet the same night.
