Bobcat Summer Classic charity softball game returns in June

(Editor’s note: Montana State University press release)

BOZEMAN – Montana State Football’s summer tradition, the Bobcat Summer Classic softball game, returns to Bozeman’s Heroes Park on June 14.

The charity softball classic pits Bobcat football players, comprising the Big Hits & Sticks team, against Bozeman-area first responders, the Lights & Sirens, at 6 pm at Bozeman’s American Legion Field located in the Gallatin Valley Fairgrounds. The event begins with a home run derby at 6 pm, and proceeds go to Montana’s Project Hope, an organization founded by the Montana Highway Patrol that grants wishes for Treasure State children living with critical illness.

Concessions and a beer garden will be available. Admission is $5, and the event features a Bobcat jersey and helmet raffle.
