Montana State announces 7-member search committee for vacant men’s basketball coach

BOZEMAN — A seven-member search committee has been selected by Montana State University to assist in identifying candidates for the Bobcats’ 23rd men’s head basketball coach.

Montana State announced on March 17 they would part ways with Brian Fish, who led the Bobcats for five seasons, posting a record of 65-92. Fish’s contract expires on June 30.

The search committee will be chaired by Casey Fox, senior associate director – external relations. Initial screening of candidates begins Friday, March 22, and a new head coach is expected to be named in the next few weeks. The seven members of the search committee include:

George Haynes, Montana State University – Extension Specialist Agriculture & Economics/Faculty Athletics Representative
