GREAT FALLS and BOZEMAN — Montana State University split their most recent series with the University of Providence Great Falls Argos.

This past Thursday, the Bobcats fell 6-4 to the Argos in Great Falls. Montana pulled within a goal to trail 5-4 with less than two minutes to play, but the Argos scored on an empty net with nine seconds to go in the third.

On Saturday, the Bobcats won 6-4 on home ice on Senior Night, as the Bobcats honored Montana State University seniors Luke Bing, Mike Truex, and Christian Butler.

“We did not play our best on Thursday night. The effort is never a problem, but we did not have a great game as a team,” said MSU head coach Dave Weaver. “On Saturday night I thought we played a very emotional game throughout. The first 10 minutes was the best of the season.”

The Bobcats will now turn their attention to the regional playoffs that will start this Thursday.
