BOZEMAN — The Montana State men’s basketball team is sitting at 4-3 in the Big Sky Conference but 7-10 overall. The Bobcats have dropped two in a row to Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington and have a new challenge awaiting them on Thursday against Weber State.
“I’m very impressed with how they attack. They’re a team not making an abundance of 3s, about 7.5 per game, so they’re getting really good attack mode and transition,” MSU head coach Brian Fish said. “They’re very good. I think (Weber State forward Brekkott) Chapman is playing at an extremely high level. They just line up and say, ‘Hey, we’re really good, let’s see if you can guard our stuff.’ … They’re not overcomplicated at what they do, but, boy, they’re really good at every phase of the game.”
Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. in Worthington Arena.
