BOZEMAN — The Montana State Bobcats are having an impressive start to Big Sky Conference men’s basketball season, sitting at 3-1 in the league with wins over Southern Utah, Portland State and Sacramento State. Their only loss in the conference has been at Northern Arizona.

Now, the team turns to another road test at Idaho, with an emphasis on rebounding.

“We do rebounding every day and our guys are pinning their ears back and scrapping,” head coach Brian Fish said. “You take the Utah State game out, we got whipped pretty bad there, but we’ve been pretty competitive on the boards and when we haven’t been, it’s resulted in a loss.”

“We’re playing a very excited and hard-playing, young team in Idaho that I’ve been very impressed with on film and try to stress that to the guys,” Fish added. “(They’re) certainly playing as hard as anyone in the league and with a lot of confidence.”

The Bobcats travel to Idaho on Thursday. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
