BOZEMAN –The Montana State Bobcats start their Big Sky Conference women’s basketball stretch at home in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse against Southern Utah (3-6). The Bobcats are 5-5 and are heading into conference play off of a loss to South Dakota State.

But as forward Claire Lundberg said, the unknown factor of the team will be their biggest advantage.

“I don’t think many people, with all the new incoming people, are going to expect what we have to offer, so I think that’s going to have a big impact,” the senior said.

“I’m extremely excited to start conference play,” Martha Kuderer added. “It’s kind of like a whole new season, we start off 0-0 and these are the games that are really going to impact our postseason. We have our whole preseason basically to prepare for this so we’re really excited.”
