BOZEMAN — The Montana State Bobcats are entering Week 4 with confidence after a dominating 47-24 win over Wagner College on Saturday. They are now 2-1 on the season, but the true challenge begins on Saturday when the Bobcats will start Big Sky Conference play at Portland State.

The Bobcats have won both their games at home but lost in Week 2 at South Dakota State. Portland State will be another true road test, but head coach Jeff Choate knows the key to a win is being prepared.

“You have to prepare like you’re playing for a conference championship, because you are, every single week in this league,” Choate said. “It’s a crazy league, but it’s a fun one. So if you don’t bring it, and if you don’t prepare, you’re going to get beat.”

The Bobcats will kick off at Portland State on Sept. 22 at 3:05 p.m.
