MISSOULA – The loss to Portland State on Saturday was a hard one for the Montana Grizzlies to swallow.

But after Saturday night that becomes the past, and now North Dakota is the focus as the Griz look to rebound on the road. The Griz will head to Grand Rapids, N.D. in hopes of picking up their third conference win of the year after that heartbreaking loss to Portland State.

UND comes into the matchup at 3-2 overall, but it should be a hard-fought challenge. Coach Bobby Hauck will be coaching for his first time at the Alerus Center and already knows what the Grizzlies will be looking to slow down come Saturday.

“I really like their backs, specifically (John Santiago), I think he’s terrific,” Hauck said. “Even though I was away I paid attention. It seems like this guy is an eighth-year senior. They are persistent with their way of doing things. They are solid in everything they do, and then talking to our offensive coaches who spent a little more time on it this first couple of days, they think this is the best defense we face, and I agree with that.”
