Bobby Hauck and Montana are moving up.

The Montana Grizzlies climbed three spots in the weekly FCS polls, jumping to No. 15 in the coaches poll and No. 14 in the STATS FCS poll, after defeating Cal Poly 48-28 on Saturday evening. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak against the Mustangs.

Montana is one of four Big Sky Conference teams ranked in the coaches poll — No. 4 Eastern Washington, No. 7 Weber State and No. 21 UC Davis join the Grizzlies — while all four are also ranked in the STATS FCS polls. Eastern Washington and Weber State are fifth and sixth, respectively, while UC Davis is two spots behind Montana in 16th.

EWU improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play with its 34-17 win at Montana State. Weber and UC Davis own identical 3-1, 1-0 marks.

Montana State (3-2, 1-1) received votes in the coaches poll but not the STATS FCS poll. North Dakota State remained No. 1 in each poll following the Bison’s win over rival South Dakota State on Saturday. SDSU remained No. 3 in the STATS FCS poll, but fell to a tie with Eastern Washington at No. 4.
