BOZEMAN — Neither Bryson McCabe or Mac Bignell were expected to be drafted to the NFL over the weekend, but all you need to make it is a chance. The two are getting theirs after receiving invites to separate camps.

Drummond, Montana native and former Montana State linebacker Mac Bignell received a rookie camp invite from the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Bignell goes down as one of the top linebackers to ever suit up at MSU, tying a school record with eight career forced fumbles. His 35 tackles for loss also places him among the top defenders in Big Sky Conference history. He was a preseason all-American and named first-team all-Big Sky at the end of his senior campaign.

Former safety Bryson McCabe will be joining the Cleveland Browns’ rookie camp. McCabe earned second-team all-Big Sky honors in his senior season, leading MSU in pass breakups (9) and finishing third in tackles (75) in his 11 starts. The Iowa native also grabbed an interception against Idaho State.

NFL rookie camps begin on May 4.
