BOZEMAN — Montana State second-year head coach Daniel Jones has announced the Bobcat volleyball team will host its spring tournament, Saturday, April 7 in Shroyer Gym. MSU is currently four weeks into its spring season.

Along with MSU, competing on Saturday will be the University of Montana, MSU Billings and Montana Tech. The Bobcats will face Montana Tech at 9 a.m., followed by MSU Billings, 11 a.m., and Montana, 2 p.m.

“Spring is such an important time in the development of our athletes,” Jones said. “When they arrive in the fall we have a very limited ability for them to grow and make changes as we hit the ground running within three weeks of them stepping foot on campus. Through the spring we are able to break each skill down, teach the fundamentals and allow our athletes to grow and improve. We are excited to get on the court and compete this weekend to see how the changes hold under the pressure of competition.”

Jones also announced the Bobcats will play Carroll College on April 21.

Saturday’s Schedule:

9 a.m. Montana Tech vs. Montana State
10 a.m. MSU Billings vs. Montana
11 a.m. MSU Billings vs. Montana State
12 p.m. Montana Tech vs. Montana
1 p.m. Montana Tech vs. MSU Billings
2 p.m. Montana vs. Montana State
