Montana State Bobcats continue Big Sky struggles losing to Eastern Washington

BOZEMAN – The Montana State Bobcats cannot seem to get their footing in the Big Sky conference, losing to Eastern Washington 84-79 Saturday night in Cheney, Washington. The Cats have now lost eight of their last ten games and are now 8th in the conference standings.

Tyler Hall led the way for the Bobcats with 22 points, followed by Harald Frey and Konner Frey who both had 16 points.

Bogdan Bliznyuk had a game-high 25 points and nine rebounds. His teammate Mason Peatling recorded a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Montana State now heads to Missoula to face the Griz who have lost their last two contest after going on a 13-game winning streak to start conference play. Tipoff is Saturday Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
