BOZEMAN – Montana State head women’s basketball coach Tricia Binford was inducted into the Colorado High School Activities Association Hall of Fame Wednesday night in Denver.
Binford was a three-sport athlete at Roaring Forks High School in Carbondale, Colorado, competing in basketball, volleyball and track.
She led the Rams to three consecutive basketball state titles from 1989-1991. She also was a five-time state track champion and three-time all-state basketball player at Roaring Forks.
Binford has been coaching at Montana State for 12 years and is the program’s winningest coach and the university’s longest-tenured coach.
