BELT – It was much better weather for Day 2 of the 58th annual Belt PRCA Rodeo on Father’s Day. Some of the event winners are listed below.

Bareback

Connor Hamilton from Calgary, Alberta scored himself an 84 on the day riding the bronc Flirtatious.

Steer Wrestling

This event was won by Curtis Cassidy from Donaldo, Alberta. The Canadian cowboy finished with a fast time of 4.1 seconds.

Saddle Bronc

Tyrell Smith from Sand Coulee won the event riding the bucking bronc by the name of Cheap Thrills. Smith scored 80 points to walk away with some money.

Tie-down

Molt cowboy Hank Hollenbeck had the fastest time on Day 2 with 10.5 seconds, but the fastest time and the winner of the weekend happened on Day 1, where Miles City’s Haven Meged had an 8.3-second run.

Team Roping

How fitting that a father-son duo would have the best time on Father’s Day: Brad and Brandon Yerian from Corvallis scored a time of 7.6 seconds. The winners of the weekend, however, went to Huntley’s Brady Tryan and Mossleigh, Alberta’s Kasper Roy, who had a time of 5.4 seconds on Day 1.
